God is cool! :)
Well, another week has past and many new things have happened so I guess it's time to tell all about my week.
Last Saturday I cleaned the house and then went to a wedding shower that evening, I know so exciting! Sunday was about the same in excitingness. Except for one thing. I had to do a fitness test for my rugby team. I have never done such a hard fitness test. I did fairly well, at least my coach was pleased with how well I did so I guess that's a good thing. That evening I had a horrible headache from it. Monday was soccer day this week and alas my scoring streak has come to an end :( We also lost so it was all around sucky, but I still had fun and that's the point of this team so I guess, not so sucky. Tuesday was exciting! At least it was exciting for me. I got to play hockey! :) I was goalie but it was the only way I was going to play so I was okay with it. The game was very entertaining to me. The team I'm playing for is a beginner team and some of them can hardly skate. Without my goalie pads I could skate circles around all of them. With the goalie pads it's a slightly different story. They were so excited to have me playing and thoguht I did such a phenomenal job, but the truth is I got lucky and I didn't have much to do. It was still fun though. :):):) Unfortunately I have to miss this week's game as it is at the same time as my soccer game and soccer comes first, but I will be back the week after that to have some more fun :)
My Bio class lately has been talking alot about Evolution. It has been slightly discouraging. I know the truth and have no problem believing it but sometimes when they present certain evidence you have to figure out how it works with Creation. Then the prof will present something and say there are two possibilities of why this happened but really there are 3. It's really starting to get annoying and occasionally I feel attacked by the things he says. The good thing is that I have a Christian friend in the class with me so we have been able to talk about it all. The newest topic has been origins of life. On Thursday my prof was talking about the very beginning and mentioned that some new evidence has revealed that clay may have played a role in the formation of life! Would you believe it? It actually didn't click in my head until that evening. I'm currently reading Max Lucado's No wonder they call him the Saviour and I read the following:
As a finale to a brilliant performance, he made man. With his typical creative flair, he began with a useless mound of dirt and ended up with an invaluable species called a human.
Before this it had pretty much just outlined all of creation and after I read that I lay in my bed speechless and in awe of such an awesome God. It amazes me how he reveals things to us sometimes and in the most unlikely of places like a university evolutionary biology class.
I started writing this blog on Saturday but didn't have time to finish it so I'm finishing it now so I guess it's been quite a bit more then a week gone by but whatever, you'll have to deal with that. I had to work a bingo Saturday night for my rugby club. It was the first one I've ever worked but it was rather sad for me. People so caught up in their superstitions that they are blind to what they are doing with their money and their lives.
Sunday I had a soccer game again. We lost again but we were playing the first place team and I was quite sure we'd lose. I was in net again as our normal keeper was away. The first half was rather bad but I've decided that I was just shaking out the cobwebs. The score at half was 5-0. The final score: 6-1! and guess who scored the goal, that's right me from centre or maybe a bit behind. It felt good to play really well again. I've had a hard time motivating myself to play hard because I'm playing at such a low level, but I finally showed my team a glimpse of what I'm really capable of on Sunday, it was alot of fun.
This week has been a little crazy so far. This week and next week will be the 2 craziest weeks of my semester. I had a midterm today and I think it went alright. It was for my Health Ed course. It's rather annoying because everything is common sense but then he asks this strangely worded questions and the test become quite hard. I have another midterm tomorrow. I believe that's all for now folks!

I do have time for eating and sleeping but not nearly enough, just kidding. I have played rugby now for about 3 years but most of last season was cut short by injuries and being on a different continent. It's not that scary but most people think I'm crazy so I don't know if that's a realistic opinion.
Yay for updates :) But you forgot MY favorite part of Monday... "hanging out" at the climbing wall ;) Looking forward to seeing you this Monday!! Have a fantastic weekend! Luv ya! -Hayley=)
