Classes are almost Done!!!!! :):):)

Well, it has been another 2 weeks since I last posted and much more has happened. Although in many ways not alot has happened at all. I'm currently taking a break from writing my research paper but it won't be a long break so in contrast to the last two posts I'm not doing this because I don't want to study, it is actually a break.

The weekend that I described in my last post went wonderfully. The lacrosse game was a lot of fun and we went out after and I actually enjoyed myself! I think it was the first time I really enjoyed myself at a bar so that was good, and I still didn't drink anything. The meeting the next day was good. It started late because we got a huge dump of snow and lots of people got stuck or had to help someone who was stuck. We talked about plays and expectations and goals and what we need to work on, it was really good. My coach also told me she has high expectations for me this season so that was a little unnerving but exciting at the same time. Our practice afterwards nearly killed me but I think that's Dawn's goal (she's my rugby coach). The rook tournament didn't have a lot of attendance but that was mostly due to he raod conditions. For the people that did come it was pretty fun. I had to work a bingo on Sunday but it was an afternoon one so only 4 hours, not as bad as the evening ones.

School wise the last 2 weeks have been pretty normal. No big tests or assignments, just normal stuff. Starting on Friday night, Julie and I were housesitting for some friends. They have a dog named Tiny and I really enjoyed having a dog for a bit. He apparently really liked me too. Julie is still housesitting until tomorrow but becuase I need to go to school early Wednesday to Friday I had to go home so I could get a ride with my Mom. I was packing up on Tuesday night and Tiny wanted to play with me. Julie tried to play with him and he would seem uninterested, then he would pick up his toy and follow me around. After I left he watched the window and when let outside he went and stood at the gate waiting for me. I really can't wait till I can get a dog now, but I will have to wait. I'm too busy right now to take care of a puppy properly so I will just have to wait. I've already waited 19 years, whats a few more?

I cannot wait until the end of classes! We only have 2 weeks left and the most exciting thing is that I only have 6 English classes left in my entire life! :):):) I apologize to those who actually like English but I hate it and can't wait to get it over with. Think of a subject you really hate and then you will understand how I feel.

Once classes are over outdoor training starts for rugby. I'm sooooo excited or this season. Dawn has been telling me lately about how good I'm looking fitness wise (yes Rachle that includes cardio, lots of cardio) and skill wise. All my hard work this off season is starting to pay off and I can't wait! Jasper will be so sweet! :):):)

At the same time I'm getting more and more nervous for all of our rugby practices at Ainlay. A lot of times I feel a bit inadequate as I've only been playing a little bit longer then some of them but I said I'd do it and it's been good so far. it's also hard as I'm used to club intensity and I can't tell if the girls aren't working hard or if they are just trying to learn the drill still so they're focusing on doing it right, not hard.

All I have left to do this semester in terms of assignments is this paper and one other little assignment. I also have 2 finals before the end of classes, but that's it and the paper is about half done so everything is going pretty well. I believe that's all for now. Have a wonderful day :)

Who reads these things anyway?

Well, here I am again, when I should be studying for a midterm but find that my blog is heinously out of date and needs to be updated, so what do I do? I update my blog. At least I have done some studying and really, I'm just taking a break but it will probably turn into a pretty long break seen as not studying.

The last couple of weeks have been a little crazy. The first week after reading week was rather stressful as I had to write a paper and I couldn't think of what to write so it turned stressful. I left it a little bit to the last minute so it's my fault but it was still stressful. Last week was pretty packed. On Sunday we had our last soccer game of the season, which we lost but it was fun. We lost again which means we will be relegated once again but as I said, it was fun. We went to Boston Pizza afterwards and it was a lot of fun. After that I went to a friends house to meet her puppy. She had just convinced her parents to finally let her have a dog. She's a one year old boxer. Very smart, well trained and very cute. Monday was a sad day, :( Actually most of it was fine. Fun at rock climbing, and no run as I was sore and I had a hockey game that night. Here's the sad part. My hockey team had made it to the semi final game and winning would put us in the final the next day. The game was really tight, 0-0 after 3 periods. So for the sake of ice time it went to a shootout :( For those of you who don't know, I'm the goalie. I stopped the first shot but the next 2 got past me and my team couldn't score so we lost in a shootout. What a crappy way to lose a game. I really wonder who created such a competition to decide who wins a game. I can almost gaurantee they weren't goalies and it's usually such a bad representation of how the game went. But I guess some games just can't be decided and it has to go to stupid ways to fix it. Anyways. The rest of the week was fairly uneventful. Bible study, lots of rugby training and then coaching at Ainlay on Friday. I'm starting to get very excited for rugby this year. The weekend was also uneventful but I guess that's how things go when you have 2 midterms the next week. The first one was on Monday and I think it went decently. The 2nd is tomorrow and we'll see how it goes. There's a lot of information to know but my memory usually serves me well. The rest of this week is fairly packed. Tomorrow night I have a meeting with regarding the Junior Development for my rugby club. I'm expected there because I'm coaching at Ainlay. Then Friday night I'm going with my rugby team to watch a lacrosse game, then Saturday morning I have a meeting to discuss tactical planning for my rugby team this season followed by a rugby training session. Then a rook tournament/game night at my house. I don't really have much(any) school work to do so it will be fine. Only 4 more weeks of classes! How exciting!!!!

Well, I believe that's all. Sorry for nothing exciting but from what I can tell, the main people who read this blog already know what's happening. I guess I continue just in case someone is reading it to keep up to date on me. I like e-mails and comments are especially appreciated. (That's a hint) Have a wonderful time until I blog again. :)
